Payroll - Two Factor Authentication
Payroll - Two Factor Authentication
As part of the Single Touch roll out, the ATO initally required that all access to the Payroll system, in particular those sections which contained ‘private’ identifiable data, be protected by a Two Factor Authentication system.
We have now implemented 2FA on the Payroll system. This means that the Payroll user, upon logging in to Payroll, will need to enter a 4 digit number from their mobile phone (SMS).
The ‘Payadmin’ user will be retired, users will log in with their existing Minder login.
