Manufacturing (Works Orders)
Manufacturing (Works Orders)
Work orders can be used for assembly or process manufacture (as in a batch). Predominantly, they are kit/route based:
- convert a work-order quote
- create directly from manual entry
- create from a sales order; text entries on the sales order are passed through to the work order
- create from a stock transfer request
- the work-order number is carried through the system and into the invoice line
- copy from previous work order, and reprice with the latest costs
- print custom designed work orders
- print work-order labels ( usually attached to a coloured card)
